Age-Appropriate Guide
Young (Ages 4–6)
Rinse plastic cups and plates with supervision. Use a step stool to reach the sink safely.
Middle (Ages 7–10)
Wash simple dishes with soap and water. Load the dishwasher with help.
Older (Ages 11+)
Full dishwashing responsibility including pots, pans, and loading/unloading the dishwasher.
